What are your research interests?
- Mathematics Interventions, particularly for middle school students with fraction content (single case)
- College students with disabilities, particularly preservice teachers (qualitative, possibly quantitative measurement study)
Why are you part of the RISE grant?
To gain the experience and degree needed to obtain a Professor of Practice position, so I can help prepare the next generation of special education teachers.
What is something you are passionate about?
I am very passionate about music and performing. I have a bachelor’s degree in vocal music education and I still love to sing. I mostly sing at church, but I occasionally take professional gigs, when I have time.
